CAESER (Corporate Assessment of Environmental, Economic and Social Responsibility) is designed to be an inclusive program of supplier engagement, designed for the public sector and large private sector organisations who wish to formalise and embed sustainability principles into core business functions, including supply chain management.
By inclusive, we mean both the public and private sector working in a mutually beneficial and voluntary way to address key issues of sustainability which affect our rapidly changing world. We believe that if insufficient progress is made towards achieving key government targets in the coming years, other approaches may be taken which could exclude many suppliers. We therefore are working hard in the time we have to encourage responsible business practice across the UK.
Elements of our verification service may be provided by one of our partners possessing specific auditing skills in a key industry sector.
